Event types

One-on-one, group, collective, and round-robin meetings.

An event type defines one kind of meeting you offer. Create them under Event types → New.

Collective shows only slots where every listed host is free, so availability is the intersection — expect it to be thin with more than three hosts. Round-robin shows the union and picks a host per slot; see Round-robin assignment.

Duration and location

Duration can be a single value or a set the guest chooses from (15 / 30 / 60). Offering choices is friendlier, but note the shortest option determines how finely your calendar can fragment.

Locations:

  • Google Meet / Zoom / Microsoft Teams — a conferencing link is generated per booking and included in the invite. Requires the matching integration.
  • Phone — either you call the guest, or they call you.
  • In person — a fixed address shown on confirmation.
  • Custom — free text, for anything else.

Booking questions

Name and email are always collected. Add your own under Questions: short text, long text, single or multi select, or a required checkbox for terms.

Answers appear in the calendar event description and the confirmation email.

Keep it short

Each additional required question measurably lowers completion. Ask only what would change how the meeting goes — see Booking pages that convert.

Limits

Under Limits:

  • Minimum notice — how soon from now a guest can book. Four hours is a good default; without it someone can book you for twenty minutes from now.
  • Booking window — how far ahead the calendar is open. 30 or 60 days is typical; unlimited invites bookings you can’t plan around.
  • Daily / weekly cap — the most bookings of this type in a period, so a single busy day can’t consume a whole week.
  • Buffers — padding before and after, which also keeps your slot grid legible.

Sharing and hiding

Each event type has a slug and its own URL:

Hidden event types work normally but don’t appear on your public profile — useful for a link you only send deliberately. Disabled ones stop accepting bookings entirely while keeping their history.
